Hold the Pisco Sour - I think I'll have sweet tea

Our first drama didn't take long to happen. We were checking in at Bradley Airport in Hartford and imagine our surprise to find that indeed we were flying to Atlanta on May 6 but we were not leaving for Santiago until May 7th! Turns out that Hubby just paid attention to the time changes (3 of them) for our flight since he made the reservation but did not pay attention to the date. So - here we are in Atlanta looking for something to do today. I have a dear friend who lives down here but she has sort of put a hold on all friendships she enjoyed from our previous company (don't know why) so I am respecting that but it would have been nice to meet up with her since we are here the whole dang day. Anywho - we rented a car, are thinking we'll head up to Stone Mountain and also go to the Atlanta Farmer's Market for some good, artery clogging southern food and sweet tea.

The lesson learned here was - two people should always review travel plans which we will now do. I thought Hubby had this all figured out sonce he has been working on these plans for almost a year. But it's no big deal - we are just going to roll with it.

Oh and I can just imagine how that conversation in Bradley must have gone down! Ha ha ha ha ... enjoy your time in ATL, the Botanical garden is also nice for killing time.

Even with the unexpected layover, I could not be more jealous of this trip. Enjoy enough for me, too, will you?

Actually - the drama was very little for a change. We ended up spending the day at Stone Mountain. And Shana, I am drinking enough wine for the both of us! And Pisoc Sours every day...
